Abstract:

The paper deals with the application of control theory techniques in the flat rolling processes. Algorithms of optimal control problem solution are presented. Optimization problem for entire multi-pass rolling design was solved. Model of optimization is presented for rolling processes on the reversing mills. The models, which allow obtaining optimal parameters, were developed with an objective to achieve the required austenite or ferrite grain size.
